The Backyard Readers: Bi-Weekly Book Club for Kids

Join us for the exciting launch of "The Backyard Readers," a new initiative by Family Promise dedicated to nurturing a love for reading in children across the Coastal Empire. This engaging program, designed for kids aged 3-10, will take place twice a month, starting from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on October 14 at White Bluff Presbyterian Church, 10710 White Bluff Rd, Savannah, GA 31406. 

Each session begins with fun breathing and yoga exercises, followed by age-appropriate reading activities based on a specially chosen book provided by Family Promise. Snacks will be served, and children will be grouped by age for a tailored experience. Families, caregivers, and educators are encouraged to participate, explore the small library, and even contribute to the initiative through book and craft material donations or volunteering.
