At the heart of his legacy stands the Interfaith Hospitality Network Day Center—an essential sanctuary for families navigating homelessness, and a direct result of Mark’s unwavering dedication. When others saw obstacles, Mark saw opportunity. Where others hesitated, he moved with conviction. His belief in the power of collaboration and faith-based service fueled his efforts to bring the Day Center to life, creating a space where families could receive care, resources, and—most importantly—hope.

His generosity extended far beyond the walls of that building. Mark was a cornerstone of compassionate giving in Chatham County. Whether supporting housing programs, youth initiatives, or faith-based missions, his philanthropy was always rooted in a deep belief that everyone deserves the chance to rise above their circumstances.
