SAVANNAH, GA – SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 – Savanah Area Realtors (SAR) are slated to host the 2023 SAR Bowl-A-Thon, in support of Family Promise of the Coastal Empire. The annual competition and fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, September 23 at Bowlero Savannah, located at 115 Tibet Ave in Savannah. SAR has chosen Family Promise of the Coastal Empire as 2023’s benefiting nonprofit organization, with all proceeds going directly to their mission to end family homelessness in the Coastal Empire.
At the event, teams of 4 to 6 SAR employees will compete for a chance to win exciting experiences, prizes, and cash prizes. In addition to all profits being donated to Family Promise, teams are also asked to donate at least 5 non-perishable items for families in need. Attendees will be able to enjoy a fun day of bowling while giving back to our community through supporting to the important services of Family Promise of the Coastal Empire.

Family Promise of the Coastal Empire works with host congregations to serve families with children facing homelessness. The organization recognizes that poverty is a complex problem that requires a multifaceted response. The nonprofit, serving Bryan, Chatham and Effingham counties, respond by integrating educational outreach, effective policies, and the hands-on work of volunteers providing food, shelter, and support services.
