Participant Registration
The Backyard Readers event is a free community program for families with children from Pre-k age through 3rd grade. There will be group reading circles, an activity session for the children, and even an activity session for the parents to have some fun too! We will also be providing snacks and drinks. Our goal is to promote children's literacy development by inspiring families with the joy of reading. Just fill out this form to secure your spot and we'll see you in October!
Volunteer Registration
Family Promise is looking for volunteers to assist with The Backyard Readers Program. The Backyard Readers program will host groups of children in grades Pre-K through 3rd grade and their parents. Volunteers will lead children's reading groups and an activity session. We will also need volunteers to assist with the adult activity session. Ideally, the volunteer would be available on both Saturday, October 14th from 10 AM to 12 PM and October 28th from 10 AM to 12 PM. Volunteers will be required to attend virtual training.
